Who we are

BESTB4 is the direct-to-consumer arm of an Irish grocery import and distribution business. For years our parent company has been shipping the brands you know — Heinz, Cadbury, Kellogg's, Coca-Cola, Lyons, Tayto, Lurpak and dozens more — to supermarkets, convenience stores and food retailers across Ireland and the UK.

Why BESTB4 exists

Distribution at scale means you sometimes end up with overstock — too much of a product, or stock approaching its best-before date that retailers can't accept onto the shelf. Historically that stock would be discounted to clearance buyers or, worse, written off entirely.

So in 2026 we set up BESTB4 as a separate operation: a direct channel where anyone — a single household or a high-street shop — can buy that surplus stock at importer pricing.

What that means for you

Same brands. Same boxes. Same quality. Just sold direct from the warehouse instead of via a supermarket's pricing structure. Typically that's 30–70% below standard retail.

Every product page shows its best-before date upfront. You always know exactly what you're buying.

Who can buy

Everyone. We welcome:

• Households looking to stretch the weekly shop further
• Cafés, restaurants, hostels, B&Bs sourcing ingredients
• Independent shops and corner stores stocking shelves
• Charities and community groups running food projects

About the dates

Best-before is a quality indicator, not a safety one. Tinned, dry, sealed and packaged goods are routinely safe well past their best-before date. Use-by dates apply to chilled items and are handled with much shorter timelines. We explain the difference in detail on our best-before explainer.

We're registered with the FSAI as a food business operator. Everything we sell is in date and safe to consume.
